Shortly our home will be decorated beautifully as we are getting ready for the Christmas party. Families and friends are most welcome to join the residents and enjoy the party. Entertainment will be provided by Kemish on his keyboard, playing all the christmas classics! As usual we will have a raffle, all proceeds going to the resident's Fund.

Throughout December our Activities Co-ordinator Val will be joining with the residents and staff to sing carols by candlelight. Val will be playing the organ while staff, residents and visitors alike can enjoy the festivities.

We are delighted to announce that the children from the nearby school are coming to sing Christmas Carols again for us this year.

Looking forward into 2009 we will be piping in the New Year with a bagpiper. He will be playing to the residents and showing off his immaculate uniform and pipes. No doubt one of the residents will ask what he's wearing under his kilt! We will be singing 'Auld Lang Syne' and some dancing for those who still have the energy.

On the 3rd January, we will be celebrating the birthday of one of our lady residents namely Pamela Barker who will be 89 years young. She has particularly requested that instead of presents donations to the Residents fund would be most welcome.

"Can I do you now Sir" by the Music Hall Theatre Group - at 2pm on the 10th January - present a 45 minute fun packed afternoon of entertainment!
